Here at Finley's, you'll be taking on the position of the night shift security guard, working from 12 to 7 AM. However, after midnight, the animatronics do become a bit...quirky. You see, the animatronics have a built-in criminal facial recognition system, and they believe anyone in the building from opening to close is an intruder, which will result in them potentially coming to apprehend you, which can result in fatal injuries.
But you have no need to worry! We've supplied you with several utilities to defend from the animatronics in the rare case that they begin to come towards you. Use your laptop to watch the security cameras to see if anything is headed towards you. Oh, and also, at night the building uses reserve power to make the electrical bill cheaper, so use them sparingly.
So, are you up to the challenge? Can you survive a week at Finley's?
Weeknights at Finley's: REBOOT is a revived idea of a fangame that was scrapped about a year ago. This was due to the unoriginal designs and characters, and the interesting-in-concept, poor-in-execution story. Not to mention the clunky and somewhat ugly models for the animatronics, on a dreary and dull and unlively backdrop.
However, the characters have since been redesigned, and the story has been tweaked to work better and divulge more from fangames' stories. In a desperate struggle for money to keep yourself afloat in college, you take a job as a security guard at a local animatronic pizzeria. However, the job becomes much more sinister when you learn only after you've been hired that the animatronics aren't what they seem. They're out for blood - which means you're their target. But the bizarre, oddly human behavior of the animatronics makes it seen that there's something much more sinister. Go back...you can't undo the past, but you can fix it...save them...
