Intense space shooter! I think I played against the bots on the server. Any chance you could make the player's own ship more visible to the player so that they can more easily discern which ship they when it gets chaotic?

This is really fun! Great team multiplayer game. Don't be dismayed by the lack of people as someone will usually get on if you sit in a server for a few minutes (thanks to the notifier).

The game runs on like everything. It's also free, which is a big plus. Give it a shot! :)

It is a good enough game. In multiplayer it's fun. An immense problem is players are rare to come by. The gameplay modes aren't bad - it's like a dozen or so mini games. The basic editor included is good enough for simple uses. Levelgen is the extra mile.

But the real problem with this game is still the lack of players. bots can be added, but they aren't human. Overall I'd say this would be an excellent LAN game, or maybe console game. I'd like to see more expansion in the way you play, such as an auto scrolling level where the level is on rails, or adding an extra dimension of play with a planet below like Deimos Rising and the bombing mechanism.

If you want a top-down shooter with an incredibly robust set of level editing tools ... Bitfighter is your game.

The gameplay is definitely enjoyable. The developers just recently did some weapon and module rebalancing and they did a very fine job. A personal favorite tactic of mine is to Cloak around and unleash Triple Fire upon my enemies at point blank.

The level editing has somewhat of a learning curve, but the community is very helpful at getting you going there. Once you are a little used to it, you will find that the level editor truly lets you do pretty much anything you can imagine ... and best of all, it's very fast work as well, not "spend all day making a level" a la Halo's Forge.

Definitely recommended. It is fun to blast and relax, but it is also fun to engage your brain and make a complicated level.
