Neat game.

IDK if you're still working on this or not, but some suggestions I have would be to limit the number of bubbles that can be fired so that the player can't spam the shoot button. Also, it might be nice to have enemies spawn further to the right than the player can move (I occasionally would have an enemy spawn on top of me if I moved to the center of the screen).
