I like how the laid back attitude of the game world juxtaposes with the hours of nitpicking game-testing that goes with batch programming. Nice.
I think you should change the name, because people like me would like the name to be short, when I shorted the name, it was CUNT
Calm
Until
Night
Time
I love this game, please don't flag this comment, this is just the reminder.
Am I the only one who noticed that the abbreviation spells out CUNT? XD
Just to let everyone know, thanks to gn0me and ZakChaos moaning about it, I've found a way to reduce the game size from ~200MB to ~40MB by using MP3 files instead of WAV. Much appreciated guys, I wouldn't have done it without you!
I remember admiring this as like a 12 year old on my old school computer when i was wanting to learn to code. Im 16 now and its super cool to come back to this from 6th grade. You did awesome in this man, and im super happy this is still up. Brings back a lot of memories.
Calm Until Night Time is without a doubt the biggest, most ambitious Batch game you will ever play. It's been in development for almost 2 years now and it's almost complete.
A game inspired by many classica RPGs such as Pokemon and Final Fantasy, delve into the engaging, yet self-satirical story; with around 10 hours of storyline gameplay and plenty of additional sidequests, minigames and post-completion content. You'll laugh, you'll rage, you'll jump out of your seat when you beat that boss you've been stuck on. All in all, you'll have a great time with this game.
Windows 7 only, unfortunately. Sorry, it's the nature of the language that it's written in.
I'm still actively developing this game so any feedback, critical or otherwise, will be very much appreciated. If you can think of any cool new features or anything that could be done better please let me know. I'm always open to new ideas!
