"heya fellas! just passing by to talk about the current state of CANDLEHOLDER:

first off: DON'T WORRY, THIS GAME IS NOT CANCELLED! it has simply gone into a hiatus for quite some time. some things have been changing in the background regarding its story, setting, routes and the like.

overall, it's going through an overhaul of what it originally was, to fully adapt to its role of being Chapter 8 of ASTRAL DISC, meaning you can only unlock this chapter if you have all Shadow Crystals. not only we are making this chapter be fully playable, we are also actively working on ASTRAL DISC's Chapters 3-7's so called "SECRET BUNDLES". they'll be a series of playable installments that will feature each of those chapters' secret boss quests and battles, with CANDLEHOLDER/Chapter 8 following up.

It's been 9 months since the last update on the development of the fangame was dropped in Gamejolt. What the hell happened? Do you really have that many issues that are problematic enough to keep you from providing an update?
