Interesting, I'll play it but I always give 5/5 for games I think have 100% effort in it like.... wll this.
The next build absolutely needs two things:
1) A HUD that doesn't blend right in with the backgrounds. The backgrounds need work to make them more easily distinguishable from the stuff in the foreground, but being able to easily read the HUD is more important.
2) Bigger default screen size. It's real tough to make out the details on such a tiny window.
Other than that it's really slick and very reminiscent of classic action games from the Sega Genesis era.
I comment and rate many games. But this game, 5/5. I love this game, NO, THIS ISN'T TO GET EXP! I'm already level 4 in one day, I had enough for today. This game is unique!
