Tetsujin

Tetsujin is a game about a cyborg ninja, who fights other cyborgs, who are probably not ninjas, that was made for GBjam2

it is, in essence, a fan-made spiritual successor to Nikujin, set in a different time period with a different plot and with a different overall playstyle, but attempts to capture the same feel. it's also my first finished game ever, and i hope to develop it at some point when i have the money and experience to do it proper justice. 'til then, though, here's a (slightly improved!) version of Tetsujin, free for you to play

Instructions:

move with the arrow keys. press up to jump, and hold to jump higher.

hold shift to boost. hold shift, jump, and toward a wall to wallrun up the wall; let go of the arrow key pointing toward the wall to fall off of it, or press up to jump off.

press Z to attack. Z in the air will cause you to do a down-attack.

R lets you restart. enter lets you pause the game, and so does escape. you can also restart while paused.
