Hey man I'm looking forward to becoming a game developer in the future and start up my own indie studio, and I want my first project to be a reboot of this game that mixes the story with BlackSite and the 1995 and 96 games, it would simply be titled "BLACKSITE: AREA-51" (with what ever year it ever releases to avoid confusion for fans). I'm wondering that if the project is good to go and that it goes big, maybe I could release this remake along with the game, and maybe help work on it? like what id software did with the Doom 64 remaster, just wondering. keep up the good work!

Area 51 is one of my fav urban legend/conspiracy theory, since I was 5. and as a big fan of Midway's Area 51 game, I really want to do a remake. Simpy as that.
Since Midway shut down and the game being released as a free-ware (courtesy of the air force), I do not know who is the IP holder, so I don't know how legal this is.

But forget about that, I will build a prototype of a remake with some (minor) changes on graphics, game mechanics and of course, story.
If it gets a community, I would lunch a campaing to fund a proper game inspired by Midway's Area 51.
I have a solid Script of a trilogy (Inspired by Midway's Area 51) involving Dulce base 'incident' as well as other well know conspiracy theories arround Area 51.

Hope this project is to your liking, if so, please share, it would help me a lot.
