The loop this world is locked into, by virtue of Pelion, is self-destructive.
No matter what fallacies we correct, no matter what actions we reverse, it only leads for a ripple that, in turns, leads to a new tragedy taking it's place.
We may have only witnessed the stars for what we consider our entire lives, but they have bore witness to us for far longer.
Clock CollisionĀ is a turn-based RPG revolving around four friends and the strange events they find themselves in. As any sort of emotion becomes completely nullified in the Faciem Isles, Felix, Skyler, Heather & Lewis, who find themselves as unusual exceptions to this phenomenon, are made to dive into the past and retrieve the "Pelion's Blessings", the very foundation of human emotion created by six gods millennia ago. But as these spirits have now come to despise the very blessings they once created, a bitter struggle becomes inevitable as they wish to destroy it.
Above all, someone is pulling the strings behind the scenes. And they will not stop until they see their dream come to light.Ā

It's Rewind Time! - From the hiemal Caves of Bronagh of 20XX BC, where the stragglers from a war-torn Faciem beyond Pelion's disappearance once inhabited, to the upper-crust Streets of Levi of 18XX AD, home of the Robinson siblings. In the hunt for the Pelion's Blessings, leave no stone unturned in this eight chapter adventure!
Beat The Clock! - In a blend between traditional RPG combat with mechanics inspired by gambling, use the newfound power of the Pelion's Blessings to defeat Bless'd Defections, strange creatures that have found themselves residing in the past. In battle, no two characters can use the same action command in the same turn, so strategy is key!
Calm Among The Storm - In Face To Face events, spend time with your friends in order to gain certain benefits in battle! It's optional, but it's better not to remain so neutral all the time, right? Doing so might even unlock new quests within the story...

Felix is the protagonist, and he's a seemingly indifferent boy who enjoys playing pranks and getting rises out of other people. He views himself as āneutralā in everything, and believes his sole emotion is apathy. He struggles to find interest in many things, school particularly, though gets decent enough grades anyway for it to fall under the radar. Heās not the type of guy to take initiative for anything, leaving that to others.

Skyler is energetic, and is hard to shut up about the things heās interested in. Heās the son of a mechanic family, and often helps them out in his free time, though he seems to dream for much more. He does struggle with conversation of things outside of his interests, and often responds to sarcasm literally, regardless if heās able to tell if it's sarcasm or not. He's a bit on the clumsy side, but means well.

Heather is loud, dramatic, and always one to cause a scene. She's an extremely talented actor, though not too confident in her musical skills. She has a strong, resolute will, but also isn't afraid to speak her mind, unless not speaking her mind, or speaking a different mind will be of any benefit to her. Almost everything she does is in service to her future, and hopes to excel over her three brothers.

On the surface, Lewis fumbles a lot when heās talking, often messing up his words, and struggling to know what to say. Heās not anxious in this regard, just bad at talking. However, heās generally friendly, and tries to be nice to those around him. Heās a bit of an artist, though doesn't have much confidence in his skills. He has trouble committing himself to tasks, often missing homework simply because he canāt focus on it, and struggles to pay attention or follow orders in general.
There's a lot of characters, friends and foes, new and old, for our cast to meet here. Most notably are the Pelion's Blessing's, who stand at odds with our main four in the quest to obtain their Blessing, as all par one wish to destroy the Blessing they once guarded with their life.
Coupled with the Genesis Trailblazer's desire to snag the Blessing's for themselves, it's impossible to know who will emerge victorious.

FAQ
Q: When will this game be released?
A: Totally impossible to know, this is a personal project as of right now. I'm currently finishing a course in Game Design, and between that, smaller portfolio projects I plan to release as indie games in the near future, and my job, I can't dedicate a massive amount of time for this. I do hope to be able to work on this full-time someday and be able to afford a team to work on it, but that's looking unlikely in my current context.
Q: How many chapters are there? / What is the game's length?
A: As of current, we have a prologue and 8 chapters planned.

Time 0 & 1 are currently planned to be given out for free as a demo, while the following chapters will be sold.
As for length, it is unfortunately difficult to determine that at this stage. We approximate around 25-30 hours, but can't be completely sure. Time plays an important part in this game, so this point'll require a lot of iteration and testing.
Q: Is this game based on real history?
A: All locations and characters in Clock Collision, past and present, are fictional, and this is a story that primarily revolves around the impact "Pelion" and each of the "Pelion's Blessings" have made on history. Any similarity beyond cultural inspiration is wholly coincidental.

Clock Collision, as of right now, is a completely solo project. However, it's one I have an insane amount of passion for. That doesn't guarantee anything, sure. But I feel like we'll be able to get past the finish line, one way or another.
