What do you think?

I shall be honest of a few points first, as we've had the part you don't want to hear first, and after that we can discuss the good part.

The game looks a bit simplistic, that's not a bad thing, but the starfield looks very extreme professional. The starfield looks a lot more professional than the ships and that gives a bit of a contrast. Despite that the graphics are not bad, so don't let that discourage you. I like oldskool graphics, it's just the contrast that did it a bit for me. (this is only a minor point though).

Another thing you might want to fix is, you chose to make the ship controllable with both WSAD and the arrow keys. That is a very good thing, but why didn't you do the same in the menu? Did you forget that?

Well, this comment makes it sound that I hate this game, and that is not the case. In fact I think you did make a true addition to the space shooter genre by the color switch requirement. The addition of new behavior to make the game harder over time is spot on and and the variations in that come at the right moment too.

I think it's a good idea if you learn how the GameJolt API works. I believe there is a version of that API for Unity (though I don't know for sure as I am not a Unity coder) so we can see how well we all do right here on this site. This game is really worth the trouble.
Perhaps adding a few bonuses to the game can do well, but don't overdo it. When I say "few" I really mean "few". When you go overkill on this, the game will be ruined.

That said we have a cool concept and it can be great.

A spacial game when you need destroy the ufos with the same color of you.
