Conway's Cooking

A culinary #roguelike where you chase after animals and farm plants to cook the ultimate recipe!

Inspired by Conway's Game of Life and written for the 2026 Seven-Day Roguelike challenge, Conway's Cooking simulates a landscape of crops growing to complex patterns, and animals that hunt for the crops, each other, and you. Cook various recipes to level up, until you're strong enough to make the world-famous Dragon Steak. You will, of course, have to kill a dragon for that; but don't let that stop you!

Featuring dozens of creatures with their own agendas; various farming implements to help you; the infamous roguelike permadeath; and more math puns than you can shake a stick at! Don't have a cow!
