What do you think?

Since a few people have been confused lately, we want to take the time to reiterate what we said in the description:
This game has nothing to do with the UE4 "Five Nights at Chica's Party World" game by the user jordanisgreat505.

This game is a remake/full reimagining of the Chica's Party World game from 2018, which was made by @PoisonousPastels and BonBun Films/Studios, and have no association with the other project (nor do we want any.)

I’ve beaten the game, getting both fake and true endings and generally, I’d give it around a 7/10.
It’s not bad, though there are parts of the game I personally didn’t like.

For visuals, the game has a very unique style which is rare to see in most fangames, and only after beating the game did I realize it was due to the player being a robot and seeing everything as low poly objects. I really like that decision and it is done well although the main complaint is the inconsistency between the artwork and the environment. While the posters and cardboard cut-outs are smooth rounded vector drawings, everything else is low poly. Maybe pixelate the artwork to fit the style.

For gameplay, the general night section is pretty good. Although it is a bit difficult to hear some sound cues due to the voice acting and music, it wasn’t that difficult to beat the game, only dying a couple of times. I also think that for the starting nights, 1 and 2, they should be either faster or at least have the AI difficulty increase as those nights progress. They only introduced one character each and I started to feel bored after the first minute of each night.

I really liked the music although I was confused with the end-of-night sequence, especially on the first night. I thought something new was going to happen like the animatronics having a new mechanic but nothing really changed. I think it might have been better to have kept it for the last night only.

My main complaint is generally the pre-night section. It's basically a walking simulator though not much is done during these sections. It's basically go to this spot, grab this, then come back. I think maybe incorporating some form of minigame would have made it better to play, though in general (aside from having the few clues for the true ending) I don’t think it was needed and wasn’t that fun to play through. Supposedly the animatronics move around to mess with the player, but in my playthrough, I've only seen it once with the fox. I assumed they’d attack the player but nothing really happened.

Some minor complaints/suggestions:
- It’s kinda hard to discern some of the text due to the font. “D” and “O” for example look very similar which made some text confusing to read.

- The ability to speed up text display, mostly during the cutscenes,

- Ability to hold down the left and right selection buttons for selecting a night in the main menu.

Review time yipee!!!! I've been waiting for this game for a good long while so I'm pretty eager to write this one. As of right now, I have yet to beat the full max mode but since that is much harder than I anticipated, I'll just write this review now. If there's some crazy secret that ruins the game after I beat that then idk because I'm not gonna make it a secret that I ADORE this game.

First and foremost, graphics. There's a lot of these PS1 styled saturating the market right now but I'm surprised to see how long it took for them to start popping up in the fangame scene because the style fits perfectly. There wasn't a single render, model, or animation that didn't look great. The colors especially are all wonderful. I'm a sucker for stylized art styles and this takes the cake perfectly.

As for spooks, I'll admit I went into this game not really expecting to be scared all that much but I'm happy to report that this game got me a good number of times. It's definitely better at capturing stress FNAF 2 style with the rapid paced gameplay but I'll get to that in a minute. It's the small things like the stinger that plays when you flash a robo and Chica's surprisingly creepy laughter. Russel scared the crap outta me in the early nights constantly when I would just randomly flash my light down the hall with him there lol. Even the pre night minigames had me on edge. Idk if it was a random occurence or not since it has literally never happened to me since but I thought those were gonna be safe spots and was not ready when a thing that I have yet to figure out what it was slinks away around a corner. Good stuff.

As for gameplay, which can easily make or break a game, I found it to be quite fun. All the mechanics are very sound and I like how everything functions. There's nothing too outstanding here but things like how Chica works can be quite fun. It wasn't *too* hard for awhile. I believe I only died once on night 4 and that's it. But things really take a nosedive in night 5. In a good way. The game is played in a way so that whenever I die, it never felt like my fault. I always forgot to keep an eye on where Russel was or lost track of Lolbyte while dealing with everyone else. Like I said, there's nothing groundbreaking here but just very solid mechanics overall.

I waaaas gonna talk about story here but I need to talk about the music real quick. I am LOVING this trend of giving these games absolute banger soundtracks and this game is no exception. Night 5 in particular is really, realy good. I love how intesne it gets by 5AM. In my opinion, these can make the usually less scary late game of FNAF games keep you stressed and constantly on your toes.

Now, story. Spoilers of course. It was quite pleasant. The protag is adorable and I love how the animatronics are just...alive. Not possessed by anything or some supernatural, otherworldy effect. Just robos who wanna be free. Sorta like Sister Location in a way. I think them being that way fits the art style pretty nice. The true ending was also very wholesome.

Overall, well, like I said earlier. I ADORE this game! It typically speaks volumes on how good your game is based off the fact if I even want to play your all max mode lmao. Everything here is pretty much perfect. Gameplay, music, story, graphics especially. I can really feel how much care and passion was put into this. If you're hesitant to play it, I highly recommend it. Easily a contender for one of my favorite fan games. 10/10

I'm super excited to see what ya'll have planned for the future ^^
