The game looks really good but the file size is what concern me
I just noticed that one of the dangerous criminals is in the trailer pictures yet I dont think I have ever seen him in-game, was he cut? ( I mean figuratively lol)
[~Review:~]
Gameplay:
[+]The combat is neat, while rng dependent early game, the combat system is compact: Battles are quick and decisive while also not feeling like it doesnt give you enough turns.
[?] The world is greatly expansive and the map is satisifying while also being easy to navigate and remember, morever you can unlock shortcuts late-game making it even easier to roam the map on the other hand the game doesnt show what you have to do or where you need to go -e.g there are enemies whom are immune to all but one rather rare & limited weapon, if you accidently break all of them before going there that bonus area is now unbeatable and it doesnt help that the game doesnt warn you in any way- especially when it comes to sidequests its literal guess work.
[-] The devs being polish it seems like they were a bit inspired by their ukranian neighbors as the early game is unbearibly difficult and even worse then stalker there are luck based instakills that are though optional your only path to thriving early-game, beyond that the only hiccup is the true final boss though its nevrycards tradition to make a absolutely ridicilous super boss you can only beat with good rng.
[-] The choices are linear if that makes sense. The game gives clues on how to get each ending in notes scattered troughout the spawn zone and you have to spesificly follow it to get the ending. Any choice you make opposing those notes is basicly the wrong choice.
Design:
[+/-]Both character and area design are simply put decent though the devs love for parody characters and spesificly writing with typos to awoke ameturish vibes destroys the tone.
Writing:
[?]The games vagueness poisons the atmosphere, while factions seem to exist and each character seems to have some sort of motivation behind their acts its poorly elobrated and not in the "cool mystique" way.
[Overall]
Its a rather weird game with rather questionable design choices but theres still something to be played and looked at even if some flaws are there,its a free game probably rushed to the end of halloween by a no name starter dev/devs,its obviously gonna be flawed as people improve with time.
{In short: 6/10,there are flaws in the games way but its nothing critical with no bugs to see and interisting concepts. Slight suffering but still worthy of a few hours of ye life}
1.Wait so is this game cannon to poofs or is it its own little thing?Along with that will this game receive updates or is it fully done
2. Im also confused about the candle story,is the little boy the puppet we fight or the player character after getting stuck?
3. How many endings are there?Even after getting trough all the way I feel unacomplished as the game is very mystique and cryptic and I just feel like theres a answer I simply dint reach.
