i agree this is a commonly used idea, but what makes me like these games is thinking about the developer. like. ill have problem on a level, and think that someone out there had to design it, and if i cant even solve the puzzle, i don't want to think about having to create it from scratch.

Another obvious and old idea. But if you could add some creativity and more difficulty...
There are thousands of puzzles like that in internet, but there is none of, let's say on 3D cube. Or with doors and switches. Or with bridges. Or with teleports. etc. Show some creativity.
