Whooo, this was so peculiar. I read Poe's Murders but so long ago I totally didn't remember his investigative approach. So fascinating, both visually and conceptually. Also, I bow to the mood, which was another very nice touch :)

Strolling - A game about walking with someone and making deductions

Wow. We did it. Strolling is an adventure game created in just two weeks for #advjam2016. And what is it? First of all, the game is a tribute to Edgar Allan Poe. Poe created Dupin, a detective that uses a method he called "rationalization" to solve crimes. Have you read The Murders in the Rue Morgue? If not, please do it! It's really amazing. Well, in The Murders in the Rue Morgue there's a short strolling scene... We've read that scene lots and lots of times and used its structure to settle our little adventure game.
In Strolling you play as Pedro, a guy walking with a friend (Mariano) in the city of Buenos Aires. Pedro stays silent for a bit and observes his companion. Suddenly, he makes a crazy statement. Mariano is astonished... How did he know what was he thinking?
Instructions:
Use the arrows to navigate the strolling scene back and forth and explore key scenes.
Combine “thoughts” from your inventory with elements in the scene to make deductions...
You can also combine thoughts from your inventory with other thoughts to get a new one!
Have fun trying to retrace the logic of Pedro's deductive process!
