Hey, ni tan mal como comienzo!
Creo que la demo es un poquito corta, pero deja bastante margen para el hype desde luego, ganitas tengo de ver que tal queda esto
Very good starting. I suggest you to desaturate a bit the general colours, expecially in hospital area, that could give more horror vibes.
DARK REMINISCENCE - Demo
This is a demo of a project that is currently no longer being developed.
DARK REMINISCENSE is a single player horror game set in between 2005 and 2010, made in RPG Maker MZ. It's a project I've been working on in my free time for a few years. I'm no game developer, and have no experience at all, so this is my first try to make something serious as a fan of the horror genre.Â
The scenarios and important moments of the game are mostly inspired on nightmares of my own and common fears people have when they are young.
THE STORY
This is the story of Samuel, a 12 year old who returns home and finds out by reading a note that both of his parents went out without telling him in advance. He goes to sleep hoping to see them again once he wakes up... What the poor boy doesn't know is that he's about to experience a living nightmare.
THE GAMEPLAY
As it is mostly a psychological horror game, most of the game will depend on the sounds and obviously playing with headphones. There won't be active enemies following you, or jumpscares, because I think that's something cheap that the player can get accustomed with ease. With this in mind, I'm trying to make the game truly unsettling.
BUGS / FEEDBACK
As I said, first time doing this. I think I covered all the game-breaking bugs and the demo is totally playable from start to finish. But, if you find a crazy bug, anything you didn't like, ruined your experience with the game or just something you think I could add to make the game better please let me know. I appreciate all kind of support and constructive criticism.
