I would say that there are amazing concepts that have been poorly executed.

Most of my complains can be addressed to the "I call it challenge- Well i call it bullshit" camp, but i played this game on normal, and my impression is that the difficulty should be tweaked, and it messes with the game's problematic pace.

My main problem with the game is what i don't get that you are trying to make the challenge. From non-randomised enemy hit patterns and zero to no HP i said to myself "Huh, this is super meat boy challenge. Fun trail and error with checkpoints every step of the way and fast respawns". Then i die and get send about 3-4 screens back, while my jaw is hanging deep under my table.

The challenge isn't enjoyable, and the pacing of the game is heavily hindered by it. Another thing is the hit pattern mechanic, what doesn't follow "left-right-left-right" pattern upon every enemy, so with the added difficulty ON TOP of high-speed jumping, fast enemy retaliation and zero to no stun time on your attacks makes so what most of the rooms are made so you will die multiple times. And IF THAT IS THE CHALLENGE then make it so checkpoints are more reliable.

You can say that it is my fault for not mastering your game, but that fact made me drop it completely before reaching the end. So if that is what you are going for, then go for it.

Also the boss is the epidemy of that design problem. It has barrels to give you extra hits and power, which is nice, but they appear too late and strategically breaking them as carefully as possible is just not an option. Not to mention the boss lags due to huge amount of shit on the screen, and sometimes glitches out, soft locking the game.

The big metal dongs are amazing. The platforming like this is somewhat fresh and interesting, and it is an enjoyable challenge, until it clashes with bad design in enemies and checkpoints (green laps gave me PTSD).

And if the game should be "HARDCORE" then platforming is 10 times more easier and reasonable then enemies, so it won't cut it for hardcore players too.

the game is a pixel art platform experience where each screen is individually made by hand, with interactive elements, terrifying enemies and treacherous puzzles

The mechanics of the game are easy to learn, it focuses on the protagonist's dash power.
There are discs in the scenario that play can attack them by making them move from one point to another instantly.

Just like the dashes on the discs, you can attack enemies as well, but the attack mechanics change a bit in the sense that you need to hit a left or right button attack sequence.

The game is set nowadays, the boneless (rebel reapers) have dominated the world taking the place of humans and now Eternus (World of true reapers) is on the brink of collapse with the lack of human souls fueling the core.

Deff is the only elite Death that has not corrupted itself on the boneless side but has also never had an interest in helping the grim reapers because him lives as a mercenary.

After Deff took a critical attack that left him paraplegic, his desire for revenge motivated him to meet the challenge of facing the boneless to save Eternus.

The enemies of the game range from skeletons mobsters, mutant creatures and supernatural beings who were influenced by the 80s terror culture.

Each enemy has their own strategy to reap them, sometimes enemies serve as platform elements so killing isn't always the smartest move.

Each level has its big angry boss and sometimes mini bosses, all with the promise that will give you the trouble you deserve.
