Thanks for recommending it to me, but after playing for 8 minutes, I can only say that I got rather bored of this game. I disliked the barking mechanic, and it was not very fun for me at all. Sorry.
The good news is that I'm nearly complete with the game. The bad news is that I can't seem to get my bank account to work with GameJolt, so I may not be able to put the full game up on here :-/
v4.1 is up. If you load a game from a save immediately after the tutorial, it used to mess up.
v4.0 is up. As always, I don't have a way to check Mac or Linux versions, so let me know if there are any problems therein. The game is nearly done; I don't expect to make a v5.0 for the demo.

Your name is Champion, a German Shepherd tasked with keeping the Queen (the owner of the house) safe from monsters. While Nyan the Cat guards during the night, monsters are no less prevalent during the day. Thankfully, their terrible smell makes them easy to find.
This demo of the idea of Dog's Quest should take about 10-15 minutes to complete. It's still in its early stages, but I love the idea and hope to build up enough interest to turn it into a complete game.
Dog's Quest runs best in 16:9, and most of the playtesting was done in 1366x768. If there's an issue, try that resolution and let me know it doesn't work in whatever you were using before.
