What do you think?

DANKE!

I'm honest. In the first moment I was a little bit scared...
But your game took me by the hand and leads me through a cool story.
It was all round and perfect.
It seems, that I like punks more than you, but thats ok :-)

And I'm not sure, if it was the correct decision at the end...
But I'm sure, that this is a good game!

Oh man, so good! Love the one bit style and interface, it adds so much to the unsettling vibe. You know you're playing something where you have to think about what's going on and come up with your own interpretations. One thing I love about the 1 bit stuff (this and obra dinn) is how things emerge from shadow/light as you get closer. makes for great reveals, and gives an awesome sense of scale. Also memories of playing manhole on mac with the 1 bit style as a kid. So mysterious. Music and sound design really amplified the tone as well.

I made a video on this game here you go-Down The Elephant - YouTube

This was... very creepy. I like the visuals and the story. Quite easy when it comes to puzzles, I would have loved to have full control when walking and not having to step tile by tile

Elephant God Temple Theme : God Is Dying

You receive a letter hurrying you to come back to your home town. Something went down at the Temple. The High Priestess you all call The Mother went missing.

It's up to you to figure out what happened to her in this surreal dungeon crawler-like adventure game.

Created for the Adventure Jam 2021.

Visual identity is almost done thanks to Keijiro's Kino Suite :)

Boris made some awesome tracks for the game and now I have to keep up visually.

I've already done the layout for the UI and now have to add some details and textures!

First character test: The Mother. Used CodeParade's face generator for the texture.

The movement system is done. I'll be refining the script later on when I'll need a specific node to activate the different interactions linked to it.

Plus on a more musical note: my friend Boris will be working on the soundtrack! It's going to be trippy!

Hello jammers!
During my tea break this morning, I decided to write a bit of the logic for my adventure/visual novel/dungeon crawler.
I am wrapping up another game before going fully on the development of this #advjam game.
