I don't know about everyone else, but the big download size is quite a put off. Seems like you should put up a demo, just a slice of your game, for download with the full game. Then, people can try the bite size version first, with less headache.
What did you make the soundtrack in? I like the retro feel.
This game isn't working on my pc...
is it just me or does this look alot like the original final fantasy?
Really? I was under the assumption that this day and age anything under 80-100MBs was just something to sneeze at. Unless someone is restricted by dial-up, in which case then I could understand if they were weary about downloading something that was even half of that.
It's a mindful suggestion, but I don't think I'll be putting up any alternate or "smaller" versions. Sorry! I guess who can and want to download it are free to do so, while those who have doubts or are unable... well, won't!
Also, I take no credit what-so-ever for the soundtrack! 90% of it is from the Dragon Warrior series, with a bit being thrown in from Final Fantasy. I just put up some samples to let people know what kind of music I WAS using (MP3 or MIDI, etc.).
