floor 24, i'm stuck in a 4sqaure room, broken mirror, no way out but to shut the game off. well, if thats the design, otherwise a bug.
also, why the ability to warp to 24 from 22?
and the sacrifice chance is only at beginning of floor, no way back to it after having problems kinda defeats point? requires loading a save to get back to the sacrifice?

i actually got 2 boats to show up, first 0 then 2.

upgrading mage for advanced spells stops game if click leave instead of picking an element.

some of the floors need more added, like the labyrinth with no enemies, the desert, etc., like they are just there for the number.

i dont get the wyvern riddle to open the secret passage. i got the swords out of the floor easily though.

i'd say save in town, however then there are just some spots that suck like spike traps or some kinda enemy where doing the floor over multiple times to try to pass just isnt fun. maybe casual mode save anywhere and if people really want to stress it , lock it at higher. i'm doing casual mode. i still load a lot of times. having characters die easily completely loses any attachment to them.

Bugs, thoughts, etc.

Level 12 is too hard, i think. I have clicked on everything i can think of, got 3 gears, but cant get anywhere now. If too hard, hints should be added. I dont see how to unlock the drawer or the gate or how to get crystal balls. I dont see any game-worthy puzzle at all, just blocked. nofun. game stuck.

The standard item slots rpgmaker gives just suck. Think of the games where there is a body shown and the different parts get equipment. Then the player gets a bunch of things and isnt stuck with the retarded options like one "misc" slot.

  1. Enemy art and names are very cartoonish, whereas the characters and townsfolk are decent. You mention games like BG, but these enemies are a silly, little kid's game in comparison.

  2. Sigils? (arent glyphs, runes, patterns, marks, etc., kinda synonymns?) This is also why more item slots would be liked. You give many of these toys to add to items, but so few items! It is also wierd that the dungeon has these conveniently all over the place. No sooner do we enter than chests are there with goodies in them. And it continues like that, just seems silly.

  3. You want the "permadeath", but it really just means, "load saved game" (and be annoyed at the lack of healing). Plus, maybe this has something to do with how tiny the dungeon levels are? I think widening the floors and allowing more healing would be good. Maybe the Goddess statue, some way to get healing there even if just once per lvl or only if 50% of the monsters are killed, some balance like that.

  4. The Creator's Area has a lot of bugs that freeze or crash the game, like some of the people at the bottom left. It could also use some more functions. But yeah, the only reason i'm in there is because of some of this stuff i'm sayin here that has just stopped the game and made it too annoying not to cheat. : P i have windows 7 64bit.

  5. BSOD. so i have a couple BSODs while running it normally. Could be coincidence but idk. I tried shutting the game down last night and the result was instant BSOD. I have the dump (i think?) , but if i were you i wouldnt know what to do with it anyway. Could just be my system.
