The original Dusttrust project by creator Sawsk was cancelled due to a massive leak of phase 3 content, which stopped development on the official remake. Additionally, the project has faced multiple ownership changes and was later officially discontinued by the latest owner due to personal reasons, although other community-made versions exist.
