What do you think?

5 days left and the prototype is still not fully done. BUT I'm close to the goal... hopefully before Sunday I'll have a good gameplay video and good screenshots for the presentation and pitching of my game.

Only have 25 days left to finish the prototype

Bear in mind that by the moment all graphics are placeholders until I can focus on making the assets that will properly reflect the current game I'm making. But you know, gray-boxing a game makes you use placeholders for everything (dang, I even still need to make a logo for the title screen and the image towards the customer eh, everything at its own time

The game is being made in Unity 3D 6.2 by the way, on my own lonesome

Once the first rated salesman of Cyber City, now a fallen puppet lost in a loop of recurring nightmares that haunt him every night.

DG!Echos of Sanity is a fanmade descent into the subconscious of a puppet who once had it all, but now needs to fight to keep what sanity is left in his ravaged mind. Control him from the distance and guide him through his fractured memories to help him wake up whole next morning (or not at all).

Cut his strings and only keep those that are still dear to his heart

With 5 days left to deliver the prototype, I stumbled with another hurdle. I needed to switch to the Meta XR SDK and it works very different to the XR Interaction Toolkit, which required me to relearn stuff

Friday of doctor appointment again

Well, some progress! The problem is... I'm the size of a #Rabbick!

At least the defaults work... I need to do a bit of tweaking before I can interact with the screen where the mini-game is displayed.

I was severely sick (caught like 5 different bugs from that outing ). Add on top of that many doctor appointments. I'm speed-running the weekend however I can because I barely has 9 days left... Everything is complete, only the VR part is missing

Another setback. Because these laptops lacks of a dedicated GPU, I can't use the Meta Quest Link which is the only way to play the project into the headset to make live changes from the inspector in Unity Need to return home to make adjustments there...

Guess #Kris grew some not-#Gaster bones... I don't have more time to do retargeting tonight, I need to wrap up, do backups and head to sleeb

Well, trying to understand Unity intricacies is taking a toll on my sanity. Tested gesture tracking on Quest2 with #Kris and #Susie's colors. Quest2 needs a lot of light else the handtracking goes crazy unfortunately (testing it at night doesn't help).

Great, the project worked seamlessly but when I tried to record it, it recorded 26 minutes of VR activity in a black void, not the actual game. What a bummer... I need to learn how to record footage directly from the meta link area or I'll be cooked

Unfortunately I needed to make an "investment" to allow my GIT LFS to give me more monthly budget to ping pong my files between the classes and my home. $5 is too much but it will only spend them when I reach the cap, not before. My poor indie kromer

"Lo #Kris, the hand you lost..." -- #Gaster

Just having a little of fun an hour before I head to bed. The dummy project is done. Only need to test it in class where the Quest3 are, since I don't own a proper tool to try out the hand gestures

Almost there finishing the not #Gaster hands. Need to practice a few things before adding the armature to these and plop them into a dummy project to test the VR hands with my model on. Better I do that at home bc these laptops can't help me
