What do you think?

I've played the demo and have defeated 5th Area boss. I also have completed all quests in the demo so I guess that should be all.

I'll start with bug reports:

1. Lily's 5th costume is shown as shoe instead of a costume. It changes her costume if selected though.

2. Lass Cutter card is buggy and could lock Lily with spinning cutlass.

3. Charged attack changer from Lily's shoes' is incorrect. Red and Blue shoes don't give any change but baker shoes give card shot (should be from Red shoes) while clown shoes give dice throw (should be from blue shoes).

4. Pie pirate card is buggy and could drag Lily downwards into ground if she uses it on ground.

5. Donut slug card would shoot donut on the ground or platform is Lily uses it on the ground or platform. Maybe spinning monkey had same bug.

6. Bowling Bunny card only spawns a bowling pin for brief time. I don't think this is how it's intended.

7. 4th area boss locks boss room's entrance except the east entrances.

In general, the game is fun if you know what to do in the game. I said so cause if you're aiming to defeat all enemies, it would be not fun cause most flying enemies are hard to defeat. But if you're aiming to beat area boss while surviving, it is good and fun.

My feedbacks:

1. East side of 4th area should have platforms to access higher level rooms. Some rooms don't have any direct way to do that.

2. As mentioned before, there should be info somewhere informing maximum clear time, minimum gems and maximum damage to earn star in an area.

3. Bosses should give strong and rare reward after their defeat. I get harpoon and plunger card from 4th and 5th bosses but I only get regular blocks from other bosses.

4. Speaking of boss, 3rd boss should have limited movement so Lily doesn't need to chase it too far.

5. Player's fire from flame staff card and thunder ball from lightning staff card should have different color to distinguish them from enemy's. I believe other projectiles should be different also.

That should do for now. Good luck in completing this game.

Fantasy Land: The Magician's Trial is a platformer with deckbuilding elements. Defeating enemies will earn you cards that let you perform powerful new attacks, and you can aim any attack in any direction. By completing quests, you can acquire stylish clothes that enable all sorts of other abilities! The faster or more skillfully you complete each stage, the greater your rewards. This game is compatible with keyboard or gamepad controls! Check the control editor in-game to view and edit key bindings.

The current demo version contains five stages and fifty cards to collect. The final release is expected to contain twenty-five stages and 250 collectible cards.

Just uploaded a hotfix to fix a crash when trying to exit to the main menu from the castle. Also edited the dialogue to make it a little more clear how to get out of the basement. Thanks for checking the game out!

Hey everyone, I've gotten a couple questions about something so I wanted to mention that if you're having trouble getting out of the basement, the card platforms can be hit from below with the staff. That's my bad for not hinting at it clearly, sorry!
