Welcome to Salsa’s Mexican Restaurant, where the fiesta never ends… even after closing time.

You play as Gru, a newly hired night security guard assigned to watch over the long-abandoned restaurant once operated by Cantina Entertainment. Years ago, Salsa’s was a cheerful family attraction known for its lively animatronic performers: Eduardo Perez, Dr. Nefario, Pollitos the Chicken, and Evil Bob.

But after a series of mysterious disappearances in 1996, the restaurant shut down without explanation.

Now the building sits dark and silent.

Or so it seems.

Your job sounds simple: monitor the security cameras, manage the doors, and survive the night. But as midnight approaches, it quickly becomes clear that the animatronics are moving on their own… and something inside the restaurant doesn’t want you to leave alive.

Gameplay

Inspired by classic survival horror mechanics, Five Nights at Salsa’s challenges players to survive from 12 AM to 6 AM for five terrifying nights.

You must:

  • Monitor security cameras to track the animatronics as they move through the building.

  • Manage limited power while using doors and lights to keep threats out.

  • Listen carefully for movement in areas where the cameras no longer work.

  • React quickly as each animatronic follows its own unpredictable behavior.

If your power runs out, the entire system shuts down… leaving you completely defenseless.

Animatronics

Each character has unique behavior and hunting patterns:

  • Pollitos the Chicken – Patrols the stage and nearby rooms, slowly approaching the office.

  • Dr. Nefario – Quietly stalks the main hallways and becomes more aggressive each night.

  • Evil Bob – Lurks in Evil Bob’s Lair and will dash down the west hallway if cameras are left unattended for too long.

  • Eduardo Perez – The most dangerous of them all. He appears when the power is nearly depleted, closing in as the night reaches its end.

The Restaurant

The entire game takes place inside the decaying remains of Salsa’s Mexican Restaurant, a once lively attraction now falling apart.

Key locations include:

  • The Main Stage – Where the animatronics once performed for families.

  • The Security Office – Your only safe place… if the doors hold.

  • The Kitchen – Cameras are broken here, forcing players to rely only on sound.

  • Evil Bob’s Lair – A dark corner of the building where something waits in silence.

Old posters still hang on the walls, promising visitors that “The Fiesta Never Ends.”

They might be right.

Story

Hidden messages, distorted audio, and secret clues reveal the truth behind Salsa’s.

Years ago, Eduardo Perez, the restaurant’s owner, became obsessed with defeating a rival restaurant chain called Los Pollitos. With help from Dr. Nefario, he created animatronic performers that could also be worn as springlock suits by employees.

But Eduardo’s obsession turned deadly.

He lured several victims into the restaurant—including Nefario himself and a traveler named Bob—and murdered them using the suits. Their souls became trapped within the animatronics.

In the end, Eduardo met the same fate when his own springlock suit malfunctioned.

Now his spirit still wanders the restaurant… watching.
