What do you think?

Ah, there's a simple variation of plant simulator: "Extinct! Are you smarter than a plant?"

You should add different speices of trees, such as a pine, which don't have to lose their leaves in the winter, but use more nutrients. Just an idea. Great game though!

I need the pause! Surviving third year!..
Wanna prune some roots...

by the looks of it, seems awesome

Fascinating! For whatever reason I feel naturally primed to expect a simulation of tree growth to be a game that is either focused on maximizing physical/spatial growth (often in a vertical direction) or non-physical/spatial allocation of resources for survival. Constraining the play space to a limited screen but still emphasizing the physical/spatial aspect of the tree's growth, resource gathering, and general survival does a good job of highlighting the materiality and complexity in the maintenance of a humble, organic object. I am interested to see how you will expand this game!

In Flora, you guide the growth of a tree. Grow your trunk, add branches and roots, but be sure to manage your resources carefully! Seasonal changes can drastically alter the tree's situation, and if you're unprepared the tree won't survive very long.

Flora is an ongoing project for me. This is the first version I am releasing, and it might be a bit rough around the edges. I am open to feedback and criticism, as I will be expanding the game a fair bit in the coming months.
