Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 is the third installment in Scott Cawthon’s iconic horror franchise, set thirty years after the closure of the original Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. The game takes place inside Fazbear’s Fright: The Horror Attraction, a haunted house attraction built to capitalize on the dark legends surrounding the infamous pizzeria.
Players once again step into the role of a night guard, tasked with surviving five nights while monitoring the attraction’s security systems. Unlike the previous games, there is only one animatronic—Springtrap, a terrifying, decayed rabbit suit harboring something far more sinister within. Alongside him are phantom animatronics, ghostly hallucinations that disrupt your equipment and increase the tension.
Instead of power management, the game introduces a new system where the player must maintain three vital systems: cameras, audio devices, and ventilation. Each one can fail or be sabotaged, forcing the player to reboot them quickly to stay alive.
With its eerie atmosphere, distorted hallucinations, and the haunting presence of Springtrap, Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 delivers a unique survival horror experience that dives deeper into the franchise’s lore and mysteries.
