Frostbite County, UT has been a dying community for years. It's up to you to find out why.
Five Nights at Freddy's: Frostbite is a combination-Hardcore Survival and Computer Role-Playing Game (CRPG) focused on mystery, horror, and unforgiving difficulty.
You play as an unnamed protagonist who was hit hard by the economic crash in Hurricane, Utah following the abrupt closure of the Stargaze Mall and the collapse of the McKinney Coal Mine. Living in a shabby shack outside of town, your life is a constant struggle for money and resources.
One day, you witness something you shouldn't have seen, and get thrown head-first into a quest for the truth.
The game is a top-down RPG/Survival game with an in-depth and deeply unforgiving medical system. You will die frequently in the start, but with patience and persistence, you will make it.
FROSTBITE as a CRPG
Upon starting the game, you can choose stats for your character that will shape many things about how you play the game. Make a character and play any role you want. A violent drifter, a washed-up detective, an everyman. The choice is yours.
FROSTBITE as a Hardcore Survival Game
In FROSTBITE, you don't play as a comfortable middle-high class citizen of Frostbite County.
Food and medicine don't come cheap. Each limb has health. Each limb can break. Some damage sources will make you bleed. Blood loss doesn't go away on its own. Pain can stop you from performing some actions. Without protection from the cold, you will freeze to death. You don't have a car, so you'll have to walk from town to town. Walking is exhausting.
A County Full of People
You are not alone in Frostbite County. Towns and locales are full of NPCs to talk to, do commerce with, and some will become companions and followers. You can beat the game with many friends. No friends. Some enemies. Many enemies. Your choices matter.
