After some postponing on my end, I did a playthrough today on Classic mode and overall it was an okay way to pass the time. Really seems like the OG FNaFb release but with a Withered reskin of the main cast.
I personally haven't tried Fredbear mode yet and plan to do so after putting these thoughts of mine so far out there but to put it a bit bluntly, there is just way too little to do in game for it to be somewhat remarkable. You get the gang, buy the best stuff, crush some cams, and beat Golden Freddy and Puppet optionally.
However a big thing I did enjoy is that, despite being denied some potential mini games to play in the arcade area, you implemented a quick and efficient way to farm tokens, heavily reducing a major reason to even grind in the first place which I can only applaud.
It's also neat to see how you replaced the Closet and, as alluded to before, put your own spin on an Arcade Area which was not present in the original game location.
That said, I have but a few remarks and questions left :
Is there a level cap?
How come that the prize corner never updates it's wares? I bought the first set of armor and weapons, thinking I could get stronger stuff by beating cams but nope.
When you beat the Puppet, whom I presume is only beatable by getting lucky with Backup Bashes considering how much HP it has, the music box sound keeps playing. I can't imagine this to be intentional as there is no reason for it to do so with no Puppet around anymore.
What's the point of the Rock Star item you get from beating the "dude in the vent"? I found no use for it in Classic Mode.
What's the password for the last two difficulty modes? Is there exclusive content locked behind them?
That's all I got for now. I suppose I'll end things off by expressing if you DO ever get around to a remake, I'm intrigued to see how it'd turn out.
Hey man, the game looks good, and if you want, i can do for you new facesets more fnafb style
This looks good gonna play it
