barney.exe remake

Bizzare but not in a scary way, more in a "why did i play this?" way. Ill be serious with my criticism because this was boring. This will be in categories so its easier:

CONTROLS AND MOVEMENT:

1. Pretty good, jump might be floaty but eh idc its ok.

2. The platforms (black quares) suck. Massively. When you first touch one (after landing from a jump, hitting the ceiling or even touching a wall) it pushes you 2 times to the left slightly. It's already annoying enough but in that grey area these jumps sucked. massively.

3. idk if you planned this or not but the holes you made arent big enough to fall through. you can just walk straight and not fall and idk if you planned this or nah.

4. Suddenly changing the movement in the red area was a HORRIBLE IDEA. I died almost immediately because I didnmt know my jump changed so massively and i fell into spikes.

   ART:

5. Im not gonna complain about the assets you used but you know how to draw a lil bit (I liked how you drew Riff) so coudnt you have used your epic art skills on the start menu? maybe on the black platforms? the voids?

6. Also just not a fan how you did the backgrounds, you cut off the house and the background feels like those old sites wheer one image is repeated a lot and thats the background.

   MUSIC AND OTHER STUFF:

7. We got like 3 tracks. barney music, spooky ambience and red panic. Most of the game is quiet without even a jump sound.

8. The red area not giving you a try again option sucks. Especially since the areas before it are boring, bland and offer no challenge. Seriously hide and seek would have been a bit more challenging if it had spikes or pits.

9. Start menu doesnt even have a "press enter to start". Thats like the basic.

10. You cant even close the game you have to task manager that.

11. AI thumbnail.

12. Same thumbnail has a character that doesnt even appear in the game.

13. Most of the characters you wrote about in the description dont even appear.

    CONCLUSION:

    I did not like this game, many issues, boring, platforming annoying, just not a fun time.

Ill admit that Riff coming from the elft in the blue void got me, even tho he missed me the first time but thats like the only good scary thing. I truly believe you can make good games and improve and i hope this doesnt seem like im hating. Im just being honest, i did not have fun or was scared (except that one time) and i truly hope in the future ill see a barney.exe remake remake and ill be able to say "dang, thats pretty good". Also please for the love of God dont use AI, it makes people think your work is trash/a cashgrab
