Wow, this is certainly a unique one. I've never seen tetris style pieces used in this sort of way. It took a play or two for me to wrap my head around it and start to find a good rhythm. Once I was more used to it, I was having fun trying to think quickly and select not only the correct piece but the right orientation as well. Once I settled into my flow of changing pieces very quickly I was having a nice time playing it. Great job!
Most interesting Tetris-related idea I've seen in a while! This is pretty unique gameplay, and the art and animation at the beginning is top notch!
