"The shadow government called me at 3 AM to tell me they fucked my wife." - Phil Morg, developer of FNAF+
Iām convinced this game was made just to share your political views cause holy shit
This game is a perfect example of "trying to have an original lore but forgot about the gameplay".
One of the main issue is the lack of attention to the animatronics and the location itself.
the phone guy literally only mention Grizzly and no other character is ever to be slightly mentioned.
I feel like you were only concentrated on the main character's personal backstory instead of the actual game or any other characters (aside from Grizzly)
Don't get me wrong, the story is pretty interesting. But it's so badly executed in my opinion.
The ending and the fact that Grizzly is obsessed with the protagonist it's actually pretty cool, at least from what I could understand from the VHS (since you can't hear voices very well).
The phone calls are actually hilarious sometimes (I said sometimes, because they talk about domestic abuse, corrupted government and there's nothing to joke about that). I found them funny only because they are so all over the place, for example in night 1 they talk about the tragical love story of John's relationship, then in night 2 the protagonist completely go full "political mode", completely forgetting about the previous topic.
Although I really think this was all an experience of yours, trying to do something new and that's completely fine! I hope you will be able to achieve something bigger on your next project :)
GLIZZY'S
I'm playing this game right now and... it's definitely different from most FNaF fangames lol. Not only does it apparently take place in a dystopian future, it's also got a lot more political talk than usual. And man, those cutscenes... Did Squimpus McGrimpus work on this or something??
So far only one complaint: This game is really loud. I have my speakers near the lowest volume possible and I still have to turn the volume of the game down to a bit lower than half for it to not be too loud lol
