Grudge Forest (2025 Remake 3D Prototype Version)

I decided to use the Raycasting Game Maker Engine potential, and to do a remake of a lost 2012 game that also now is a lost media, and i am talking about "Grudge Forest", that was available on the now defunted "YoyoGames" part of site of Game Maker.

This game was originally made by KaKouss Night, and remade by me, Slender Nightmare. :)

I took me really much, because i wanted to do a really good job there, i did the forest, the map, the original vibe, the pages, the sound of Kayako Saeki from The Grudge movies, i love those movies so much, haha, i got some errors with the sprites that some old ones got transparent in some black parts of them, and they didn't have to, so i had to change them, and i succeeded it.

This time the story is that there's this guy that went in this abandoned park, decided to check a bit of it, as many told some storie about it being haunted of a woman that died there many years ago, and you went there, and this will be a mistake.

The ghost will chase you, and will you succeed to survive? 

The mission is to take all the 8 pages and to go to the exit faster, before the ghost catches you.

You can't shoot obviously, because also in the original game you couldn't, but i didn't know how to totally take away the gun. 😅​

I hope you will like it, it's like the first ever remake of the original game! hahah

I don't know if to do another game about the Slenderman also, hmm, or about White Finger for example, that could fir really much, i will think about it, i just got so much into this engine, haha 😂

It's a bit limited, but not even so so bad, and i repeat, the game's style is similar to the old Doom/Wolfenstein 3D one.
