What do you think?

Its great! but could you add collistion and knockback?

This is ridiculous, anyone could recreate this in 5 seconds with RMXP and a few lines of Ruby. Don't release a demo until you have something to show.

OO coloca praa

Wow your game seems intriguing, for how long have you been working on it, and can i try it by myself?

Overview

Harvest Rogue is an ARPG in the same vein as Zelda or Terranigma. It features a dual world, crafting, as well as a story. It uses pixel art graphics, and a real-time sound synth for legit chip tune music.

Current State

The game is currently in *very* early pre-alpha!

There are some basic gameplay elements, but it is very far from feature complete!

There are builds released, but the bleeding edge ones require keys to access. DM Essial#9325 on discord if you'd like access. We're looking for testers, not players at the moment.

Supported Platforms

We currently target Windows, Linux, and Mac OSX. We would like to eventually add console versions if the game gets popular enough.

I've got some big stuff I'm putting together, so I may not push an update until this weekend. Stay tuned!

Not sure if this should be on the bottom or top... and if it should be solid black or simi-transparent. Either way, this bar will have the important stats, as well as any bound actions. I may even make it a vertical bar so the game plays in a square area.

Got a ton more art from the artist yesterday! I will be adding rain effects and modifying the map system, as well as adding item boxes and inventory management over the next few days.

Work has begun on the in-game menuing system. Please don't forget to leave feedback on the combat mechanics so far, so I can adjust them in a future release!

The first early pre-alpha release v0.2.0 has been published! This release is mainly to test system compatibility. There's a basic combat mechinism that works with keyboard (Z to attack) or controller, but not much else. Feedback welcome!
