In one of the images of the game you can see the pre alpha house in the distance is this maybe hinting at something

Hello Neighbor Alpha 1 Complete Edition is a stealth horror game about breaking into your neighbor's house, to discover the secrets of his basement!

It's directly based off the original Hello Neighbor Alpha 1, but it is built from scratch in a new project, and it's using the latest version of Unreal Engine 5.

The main difference is that it also has a lot of custom aspects, including new puzzles, new mechanics, much more content in general, a very different story, custom cutscenes, and an intelligent AI that you have to outwit to win the game!

The game is going to available on Windows at launch, but it'll be available on other platforms in the future.

I edited the neighbor's house mesh, Now it has a extra window in the living room, a extra window in the hallway on 1st floor Another extra window in the hallway, and a extra window in the bedroom.

I plan on upgrading from UE 4.26.2 to UE 4.27.2 so I can have all features and support ray-tracing.

New Menu,

Differences:

Replaced the background with a much nicer design

Rebuilt the lighting

Replaced buttons with new ones with a custom font

Redesigned UI to be cleaner.

It's been 10 days since my last post, but it isn't dead!

I was just doing some polishing, I realized that I procrastinated too much for the demo, so I will work very hard on finishing it entirely. I was redoing the menu, fixing the neighbor and more.

So, I decided to use the Animation test "Nicky" model from the modkit but I will change some things and polish it up a bit more, and I will also combine the pre-alpha man head with that body to create a new player.

Im finally close to finishing several things for the demo, so here's a blurry teaser related to it. (Edit: Well, nvm.)

New Sky!

My NavMesh broke again and now the neighbor refuses to move in my project and the IdleTask integer is printing all numbers at once.

I will probably change it a bit later to not look so much like Extended. (Most of the main menu is temporary for demo.)
