What is "Humans From 20XX" about?

Humans From 20XX is an RPG inspired by games like Undertale, EarthBound, and Heartbound where you have to take back the earth from invading humans from the future who are being robotically controlled by an evil leader called Malum to destroy the earth and end humanity.

Gameplay

You take control of a teenager from Falls Town. As you navigate through 5 different worlds of the past and future, you'll meet wacky enemies and befriend characters who will assist you on your journey.

In the overworld, depending on if you're a easy going, caring person, or if you're a cold blooded murder, you can interact with the NPCs in different ways, like giving them a cookie, or maybe giving them a birthday card or S̵͎͓͉̓̄Ṯ̸̙̖̆̈͒A̶̫͔̓ͅB̷̢̩͍͒̽͂B̶͙͇͈̆Í̸̯̳N̸̨̋͋͝G̷̻̜̊ ̴̟̒́T̴̖͑͐̎H̵̜̼̬̽E̸̼̾͒M̷̞̘̖͠ ̴̜̹̔̿͋I̵̲̅̈́̆N̷̨̝͋̚ ̶̠̽̃Ț̵̬̑H̴̠̔͐͠E̵͖͉̖͌͛̑ ̷͔̓C̵̛̝̭̰̎̏Ḩ̶͓͇̂͗͂E̶̻̒̆͆S̷͙͑̕T̴̯̀ ̶̦̅̄W̶͖̎͌I̸̙͐̇̈Ț̴̢̓̑H̵̨͉̭̀ ̴̮̻͑̚ͅA̷̢̢̼̎̃ ̵̼̭͖̀̇́Ķ̵̡̯̽N̴̛̘̣̬̓I̷̞͍̊̃F̴̲̈͜E̷̛̫͂͝.

In battle, you can choose if you want to try to befriend your enemies, or if you want to exterminate them.

Is there a release date?

There is no set release date yet. I'll be updating you guys on the official Humans From 20XX Twitter monthly on how the game is coming along, and when there is a possible release in sight, I'll let you guys know.

The price will be somewhere from $5 to $15.

I'm planning to release Humans From 20XX here on GameJolt first. A Steam release will come later if people actually like this project.
