my RPG maker is going a bit wonky and i may have to just scrap and switch to a different maker such as game maker

i've always wanted to make a game, and now that i have the resources, i am going to make a suspense and tragedy RPG
a young boy, constantly in trouble and always a fireball, he has promised to always be there for his younger sister, but when she is kidnapped by a mysterious force and his worst nightmare; he must go on a journey to save her. enduring adult humor and idiocy, will he decide to be good? or take on a life of evil?
