It is a cute game. I guess the point is, that a person go on with his day, accomplishing stuff at work (that feels like slaying a dragon) and then goes home to his loved one, living what seems to be ordinary and nice life. And even though we, as a player, see the unfaithful wife, he, as a character, cannot do anything about it, because as far as he's concerned - his wife loves him and he has no reason to come home early. He's just slaying dragons every day. That said, even though it would be nice to be able to confront her, we can't. Because that is life. So I don't think that the game misses on its potential - on the contrary - it allows you to play exactly what you can "play" in real life.
I love the graphic and the double view - really nice approach! It's really simple to play and it's fun. However, I do think that most people (including me), give up on the second try. Then again, I suppose the purpose is not to be played over and over again.
This game is interesting. It presents an age-old dillema, which has a lot of solutions but no perfect ones. I really liked the graphics and controls, and also how you present two locations at once (with the observation camera-feel). The retro feel really brings the game and feels sort of, "closer" to the player.
However, for as far as I can see (I might've missed something but it doesn't seem like it) the game also misses out on a lot of potential. The game gives you a lot of possibilities to rebel. For example, what happens when you don't dress up first and try to do something to the woman in the kitchen? What if you capture her and her lover in the act? Find them at home in the kitchen? Go back to bed? Or, my favourite, what if you kill the dragon but don't take the money home? Will she still love you? I think you have something really interesting here and there is in my opinion certainly an incentive for a "I LOVE YOU Part 2".
All in all it's a very cool game, but it feels incomplete in some ways. If you add some more irregular actions, it might just become a very philosophical game!
That soundtrack is too sad.. I don't know why. But it fits insanely ! I totally love that tiny , awesome game !
Wow, this made me sad. I really like the execution, and the general feeling. Great job.
Why would you ever dare cheat on a guy like this? Do you have any idea what this badass could do to you?
Brief love-story/Everyday work simulation.
