Why Are We Here Just To Suffer
This is an FPS Horror game we made in our 24 hour game jam. The game jam was focused on the theme of “price”, so we have (tried to) design(ed) all mechanics to include some sort of a cost related to them.
Includes multiple levels where you have to reach the bonfires without dying from either loss of health or loss of sanity.
You can kill the enemies only with a headshot, but killing an enemy will also lower your sanity, which will also kill you if your sanity reaches 0.
(not done) you can cripple enemies by shooting them on their legs, leading to incapacitating them but not killing them.
Enemies will continuously spawn on a level
You can open nightvision by pressing the N key, but nightvision severly restricts your field of view.
You can enter SlowMo by pressing Q, allowing you to aim better but at a cost. (not finished) When in slow motion, even crippling shots will decrease your sanity.
(Not finished) A power up system where each power up would have both a positive and a negative side to it.
Disturbing sounds of crying set an ambiance to the levels and the enemies will shout “you murderer!” as they rush to the player.
