bug: if you hold space to fast forward the intro text, the last image of the cutscene will persist
We are so back.
cool text simulator! I went through all the levels in dashs ignoring all the enemies, I win all the bosses in one and a half seconds, without receiving even one unit of damage. The ending with the freeze is so strong that I cried.
(How did you even think that making the dash longer than the screen and not giving it a even minimal recharge is a great idea? Isn't it obvious that this is just a way to skip literally the all game?)

Alpha Demo V1
Version 1 of the Alpha Demo. This includes the first few cutscenes and first two bosses.
This is WIP game I'm making myself as probably a last installment to the video game series of K&F, and also last game I'll be releasing for free. After this, I'll start working on a HUGE ambitious project and finally start selling.
I'm also working on a new K&F S episode on YouTube.
This game will still kind of be short but no shorter than K&F VG 2: Epilogue. All I planned is have 3 small levels with the 3rd boss being the final one (which is the new villain for K&F), with a little something special at the ending.
Also, sorry if this game will turn out to be more sloppier than my other games. I'm prioritizing speed than quality because by the time I start my first commercial project, it'll be the other way around. I wanted to work on that one so badly because I have been waiting for nearly 2 years to start on it while I have been finishing my other unfinished works.
But hey, to the old K&F fans out there, at least you get something than nothing.
However, I would still occasionally let out update patches after this game is done.
This game was inspired by Alien Soldier for the SEGA Genesis. The Alpha Demo is also available to play so that you get to experience the game before the finale.
Difficulty Levels:
Difficulty choices are available here, unlike the previous K&F games. What do they mean?
Casual: The easiest difficulty, for casual gamers. Reduces the number of enemies on screen.
Standard: The default difficulty. For people who want some challenge but not too much.
Professional: For gamers who can pick up patterns quickly or have some reflexes. There will be many enemies on screen, so don't select this if this is your first time player.
Important Info:
Now, this game has a tutorial in it after the cutscenes that teaches you how to play, so I don't need to explain it here.
However, this game does allow you to connect your controller and play the game with it. I recommend Xbox controllers since the extension I used is optimized for Xbox. Vibrations will work as well. And I will put in this diagram so that you can get the idea.

For the cursor actions, that is exclusive for the Windows 2000 simulator part. You don't need to use them anywhere else.
Also, I completely removed the Scratch header toolbar because I finally implemented an in-game pause screen where you can actually switch characters during gameplay. Though, the pause screens are deliberately disabled when you reached to a certain point of the level, and you have to play as a specific character, but you can still switch characters during bosses.
There is also one little trick. I engineered the levels to clone themselves in tiles but because of that, it's pretty buggy which means it can make you clip at the bottom or the top of the level, so be careful of that. I also implemented a hovering feature where you press A while in midair, and you can use that to escape fall deaths by spamming the A key.
Pretty much it. Don't forget that this is an Alpha Demo, so you will experience some issues, but I'll try to do the best I can to polish it, even though development speed was the priority for this game.
Full game progress: 50% complete (This includes what I already have in the demos).
I'll keep you in touch with any more info or anything I have in the sort.
