An Oracle's path is a branching one. Some become powerful summoners and channelers, while others peer into time or speak on behalf of spirits. For this reason alone, they're key parts of functioning governments--which often means hefty paychecks. Arcadia Arceneaux is one of these gifted individuals, but she hesitates when pressed by her moms to pursue it as a career. That's because her oracular gift isn't "normal"; instead of connecting with deities and spirits, Arcadia is able to form bonds with herself across parallel universes. Thanks to a certain tragedy from just a short while ago, she's terrified of using this ability again, and chooses to deny its existence.
When a mysterious assailant begins infiltrating and targeting her hometown, Arcadia realizes that the time for denying these abilities has passed. To overcome this threat, she'll need to become familiar with the true nature of her abilities and reawaken old nightmares that will threaten to destroy everything she's worked for.
Four ways to play
The world's a flexible, ever-changing place. Arcadia will use this to her advantage and discover new ways of tackling problems, whether it be through combat, investigation, social engineering, or exploration.
Unique Class Growth
Many classes have something to learn for just about every type of character in the game. Some magicians choose not to use their magic for learning elemental attacks, but may find comfort in learning charm spells. Perhaps some software engineers don't like creating OS, but they take particular joy in finding vulnerabilities in computer systems and exploiting them. Each character has the potential to find something interesting for them in many of the game's classes.
Explore Personal Complexity
Each character has a multitude of sides to them. As our heroines learn more about them in both their starting timelines and alternate ones, they may unlock hidden secrets and latent traits that can turn the tide of their adventure.
Unearth Secrets
The world is filled with secrets in both the most hidden of spaces and the most obvious of places. These secrets may assist our heroines and heroes greatly in unlocking not only their own potential, but also that of their allies.
