I will remember these things when creating my next game
well, you need to work on the sprites, you should start using tile sets if you are not using them. you can find a lot of good free tilesets at opengameart.com also dont use gamemaker's basic sprites,the collision and movement needs to be polished as it is extreamly glichy. if you can fix those things this game can turn out real well :)

A maze game created by Siddhant Verma. This game has 15 levels with 3 enemies each different from previous. You can collect three type of collectibles diamond, coin and rings. 3 enemies Ghost, Spider and Skeleton. Some extra things like boulders, moving walls, holes, doors, bombs and trigger.
