MyGameEngine for Monkey X cross-translator

So... I don't know why, but it's really hard for me to learn to use an existing game-engine for some odd reason. So, I started creating my own from scratch. This engine gets a lot of influences from HaxePunk, which is a port for Haxe from FlashPunk. There's still a lot of work to do, before I can start creating games with it, though - which doesn't really matter to me, since I've really been enjoying creating this engine. :)

Features:

  • Scenes and Transitions

  • Entities with image cache, masks and collision detection

  • Sound cache

  • Input defining

  • Tilemaps with current support for TileD format only

Not yet implemented:

  • Particles and Emitters

  • Debug/developer console

Update 5/22/1024

Added a player that can shoot, info texts and a Windows distribution. Possible future builds for Linux and Mac.

Changed the debug-information rendering on top of everything.
