Good show there, and an ending I did not expect.

Interesting game and surprisingly good FPS for graphics quality.
I've made a playthrough on the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FeQxZFCzk0c

Here are my thoughts:
The game is too bright (I would even say unrealistically bright), it makes it really hard to see screens and objects. I sometimes struggled to make out what's on a screen because it is so bright. The brightness also takes quite a bit of the scare away and makes the game look "cheaper". I've barely had any use for the flashlight, no "flickering broken lights", etc.. You can take example from Alien Isolation. I think part of it is due to the walls being WAY too reflective.
In my opinion the screens should have less "opacity" to them, to help make out what's on them.
The biolab scare is very nicely built but the elevator one seems cheap and unscary. It gets you by surprise but once you notice the anomaly is harmless and just makes a black ball that does nothing appear it becomes comedic. Some chase to the elevator and banging on the doors of the elevator would really pump the player's heart, but I can understand if that's too much to do. So for a small suggestion, maybe just make the lights flicker and having him disappear?
I didn't understand the ending or how the anomaly even got on the ship, the concept is nice but I feel like the story wasn't executed very well. Like, why does someone punch you at the ending? It doesn't quite make sense.
I really suggest you take notes from Alien Isolation. It's also a horror game built on a space ship, and you could get some ideas on how to make the game look better!
There's a lot of unused space. It's not much of a bother but I really feel like it would give the game quite a bit of atmosphere. (Such as right outside the first door of the starting area, or the stairs part)
Overall, even though the game has a lot to improve on to become incredible, it seems very well built. The FPS is a constant 60 on high settings unlike other games on gamejolt with use even worse graphics. The blackhole is stunning to look at. And the gameplay is pretty decent. Amazing job!
Very amazing graphics! Looks like lots of effort was put into making this!

Cool game, but didnt really liked the end part. Graphics were great, need a master volume in the settings, also couldnt find a mouse sensitivity option, when you were in the game.
but nice game good potential.
True Horror is the Unknown...
Interstellar Cruiser "Helix" with a huge colony is traveling through the galaxy to a new potentially habitable planet.
During the expedition spacecraft encounters a strange anomaly, which alters it's primary course and causes hibernation pod failure.
It's up to you now to figure out what is happening and direct the ship to it's destination!

Note - Game includes original chapter (Act 1) and two new ones, there is no save functionality, but you can choose chapters from the main menu. This a complete little project, but it may have smaller or bigger additions to it in the future.
Disclaimer - There is a lot of bright and fast flashing lights in the game!
