One Man Hide & Seek

At 3 am in the morning, you begin to start the ritual to summon the dead. You know that this ritual is dangerous because if it catches you, there is no telling where you will end up.

The game is based off the creepypasta/ritual called "One Man Hide & Seek", where the aim of the game is to hide from the doll, which is possessed by a spirit. The game aims to capture the essence of the creepypasta/ritual and expand on the ritual.

If you want to perform the ritual, here are the instructions which will provide you with all of the information:

Things which you will need:

A Stuffed toy/doll with limbs

Some Rice (you will need enough to fill the doll/stuffed toy completely)

A Needle and a Crimson Thread

A Sharp edged tool e.g. a knife, scissors or a pencil

A Cupful of Salt water

A Hiding place

Preparation:

1. Take out whatever the doll/stuffed toy is stuffed with, and replace it with rice.

2.Clip off a bit of your nail (you can use some hair or even blood if you want to), then put your nail/hair or blood into the doll. Sew up the doll with the crimson thread. When you have finished sewing, tie up the doll with the left over string.

1. Go to the bathroom and fill your bathtub up with water.

2. Return to your hiding place, and put the cup of salt water on the ground.

How to do it:

1. Give a name to the doll/stuffed toy. The name could be anything but your own.

2. When the time is 3 AM, say "(your name) is the first it", you must say this three times to the doll/stuffed toy.

3. Go to the bathroom, and put the doll/stuffed toy into the water filled bathtub.

4. Turn off all of the lights in the house, go back to your hiding place and switch on the TV.

5. After counting to ten with your eyes closed, return to the bathroom with the sharp edged tool in your hand.

6. Go to the bathtub and say to the doll, "I have found you, (the doll/stuffed toy's name)". Stab the doll with the sharp edged tool.

7. Say, "You are the next it, (the doll/stuffed toy's name)," take the doll/stuffed toy and put it on the counter in the bathroom.

8. As soon as you have put the doll down, run back to your hiding place and hide.

How to finish:

1. Pour half of the cup of salt water into your mouth. Do not drink it, just keep it there.

2. Get out of your hiding place, and start looking for the doll. The doll is not necessarily in the bathroom. Whatever happens, do not spit the water out.

3. When you find the doll, pour the rest of the salt water over the doll/stuffed toy. Then, spit out the salt water in your mouth onto it as well.

4. Say, "I win," three times.

This should end the ritual. After this, make sure you dry the doll/stuffed toy, then burn it and dispose the ashes.

MOST IMPORTANT:

Do not stop the ritual halfway. You must do the ritual to the end. This is a very dangerous ritual, I will not be responsible if something happens to you during the ritual, I do not advise doing this ritual.

Other things to keep in mind:

Do not leave your house until your have finished the ritual.

You must turn off every single light in you house when told to do.

You must keep quiet while hiding.

You do not need to put the salt water in your mouth straight away, you only have to put it in your mouth for the finishing ritual.

Remember, if you are living with someone else, you might put them in danger.

Do not continue this ritual for more than one or two hours.

For safety reasons, it might be best to keep all of the doors in the house unlocked, even the front door. As well, have friends close by, so that they can help you at a moment's notice. Keeping a mobile close by might be a good idea as well.

Facts:

The rice represents innards, this will attract the spirits to the doll/stuffed toy.

The crimson thread represents a blood vessel. It seals the spirit up inside the doll/stuffed toy.

If something is "wandering around" the TV should start to act up, so make sure you can see the TV or can hear it.

Do not leave your hiding place without the salt water, if you do you may encounter something which might harm you.
