Not bad. The lengthy review is quite impressive, though. 4/5
Well I have just played your game and... I love it! Although I had to stop short to being stuck (without having to spam fight to figure things out). First off I like to give a lot of good feedback then let you know what I think doesn't work so well. The story is great, well thought out (in a sense). Battle is fun, with different monsters and skills that make the game different. The fact that you miss is something a lot of people miss (ha-ha pun) out on; when you add miss it makes it more fun then expecting to hit. At some point to expect hit and miss, but adding also that enemy hit and misses also makes it fair game. The skill are balanced and just powerful enough to the SP they cost. The sparing your saves is a great feature and the prices for the shops are reasonable to the GP you get around the monsters. Hidden items in certain areas are quite nice and the fact that you get a good sense of dread when you know your screwed makes this game also nice. Finally on the good side of things, the horrible landscape that makes up the "world" are well placed!
Now for the bad things...not so much! Other then lack of better design on certain monsters (those bats are frisking creepy!) and the fact that one of your glitch things seems not to work (as to why I'm stuck), this is quite a good game. 5/5.
During the second sign (I bypassed the first dark sign when I told the bird "hero") I saw the point of the map, but the fact that after I spent a good ten minutes (which is good!) but after defeating the Glitch Bird (barely!) It didn't send me back (as it should have, as stated by the sign).
Send me a Friend Request, so you can PM what's up with the sign.
GREAT GAME!
This look pretty good, I'm downloading this as you read this (if your reading this as soon as I post it). I've give my idea on this game when I get done!
Originality is a one man RPG taking place in a quirky world.
Story: One man ironically called Hero sets out on a journey after finally waking from a 'dream' like state. He wishes to save his world or put it to rest; the answer rests in a string of mysteries that the player must figure out.
