Could not find the goal
random npcs get disfigured but are still alive if you walk into them when the thing in the box isn't hungry.
while the concept of the box is interesting. this just isn't fun.
Pretty original idea. And really good work at making the box seems dangerous and disgusting. I liked the little messages. Graphics and audio was really well done, if the box sounds were a little less repetitive it could really be unsettling! :)
It was rather confusing, though. I was never sure when I successfully used the box or not.
Thanks for the video Jupiter :).
Bluebirdplays: In fact, if the box is hungry, you'll eat and kill the victims. If not, you'll transform them into some kind of zombie: you do not have any button to press.
The goal in our game is to find a specific victim (with a red shirt), kill it and move back to the beginning of the level.
Thanks for the feedback!
Definitely a creepy box. I enjoyed the graphics, and the icky maggot-filled box was classy. I think my only suggestion would be that while I was playing, I didn't know if I was supposed to just run through the 'victims' or press a button. I'd walk through someone, then turn around, and the victim would be all disfigured. Cool concept!
Quite the creepy little box. I included it in part 2 of my Asylum Jam Compilation video series, if you would like to take a look :) http://youtu.be/WZQsMOO2E5A
The box is your enemy, the box is your weapon; keep it hidden but don't let it eat you !
In Out of the Box, you are stuck with a dangerous creature that you will have to preserve and hide from the other foes... but sooner or later, it will get hungry. The more hungry it gets, the more restless it becomes. If it doesn't feed on others... it will feed on YOU.
In Out of the Box, your goal is to take revenge, the means are in your hands.
Explore a ghastly bunker, find your target and kill him; but beware, no one alive should know... what's in the box.
