Looks and sounds really good. :-)
That being said, I found the gameplay quite simple and repetitive. I only finished the first level and got to what I think was the boss of the second level. It was quite hard for me. I also felt the enemies had too much health to my likings, or perhaps I simply needed some way to know their health state...
The small blocks should have a crack in them when they are one hit away from exploding. This would help make game play flow a lot. :)
I have updated the file with some small fixes, I'll post on the blog if you want know what is fixed.

Go down the mines and clear all the monsters in your way to reach the source of all problems because that's your job......and there's not much of a story here so don't think too much about it.
P-Lox is a game based on Pang/Super Pang with a bit more rpg into the mix, you play with the arrow keys and space and should be pretty easy to get into.
The Lite part of the game is because mostly of the small size limit for the competition and also because i originally have a lots of ideas for P-Lox but have to cut down some of them because of time restrictions
size limitations, mostly because music takes a big chunk of it.
Don't want to bore you to death with text so i will finish this quickly by saying hope you have fun playing it, and all kind of critics are welcome.

Small update
So to sum it quickly what have change:
_Some more visual flare to combos
_Ability to turn off all sound on menu
_Some changes on explanation on the controls
_Small change on the HUD now showing your score
*Smaller sound bug fixes
