Pengine - Platform Engine
Pengine is an Open-Source Game Maker 8 platform engine. It sells for a really low price of $0.00. Although Pengine is still in Beta and not completed, it is ready for use in a simple platformer.
As the user all you need to do is copy the code from obj_player and then edit the create event to fit your likings. In less than a minute you can have a nice platforming engine.
