Game Information
Inspired from hit video games such as UNDERTALE and EARTHBOUND, Post-Polarization is a 2.5D turn-based RPG with political themes and intriguing dialogues, taking place in an alternate history in the 1960s.
You wake up to a sudden diplomatic crisis between the two countries. Gear up and put an end to this for the best of people!
Three different endings depending on your actions! — You can immobilize, negotiate with your enemies... or simply RUN AWAY! But look out for your reputation, because that's important!
Complete side quests! — Main quests not enough? Some people are willing to ask a favor to you!
Character talents and levels! — Upgrade your character talents and level by gaining XP! Gain too much, however, and your reputation is negatively affected.
Turkish and English localizations... and possibly more! — The game is available in two languages: English and Turkish!
Learn the history of Kälterland! — Look out for all the dialogues. You might get to learn more about this nation.
Story Summary
Kälterland, located between the borders of Weimar Republic and Poland, had a very prosperous past with a booming economy in the early 20th century. However, as time passed, various factors in both Kälterland and the world further polarized all of its people, eventually leading to massive protests which brought Kälterland to its separation.
Today, Kälterland is separated into the West — a republic controlled by Clara die Beschützerin (aka. Madam Twintails) alongside two other very important people — and the East — a puppet state controlled by Valeriya and her hegemon.
One day, just as a new constitutional draft was about to be finalized, a diplomatic crisis breaks out. Things get mysterious in the administration of West Kälterland, therefore Alice and Lena — close best friends of Clara and co-founders of West Kälterland — decide to investigate this matter.

Generative AI Disclaimer
A small percentage of the soundtrack had parts of its melodies (or all of them) generated by Gen-AI. Small modifications were made to the melodies and the instruments were overridden in a DAW afterwards for both partially AI-generated and completely AI-generated songs.
Very basic story draft planning was assisted by Gen-AI ONLY at very specific situations (hitting a very big roadblock in story planning). Everything else is PURELY made by me (dialogues, story execution, cutscenes, initial idea, %99 of the story draft, etc.)
Most of the game's engine framework code (saving-loading system, typewriting system, etc.) was generated by Gen-AI to save time.
Gen-AI content will be completely replaced (game framework code not included) when there's enough budget.
